WHAT IS HEART ALCHEMY?

Alchemy, can be defined as taking a material, such as iron, and refining it into a noble metal, such as gold. This process is an ancient practice that was used all across the old world from Egypt to Rome, later funneling into our western world. This refining of metals was the outer, or exoteric process of alchemy. However, there was a far more valuable inner, or esoteric process, that the Alchemest was actually in search of. This alchemical process is what birthed what many refer to the true “Philosophers Stone”. The philosophers' stone is know as the central symbol of the mystical terminology of alchemy, symbolising perfection at it's finest, enlightenment, and heavenly bliss. Now, looking at alchemy as a spiritual practice, we can see this process as the transumtation of lower emotions, traumas or states of being, into higher emotions, or states of being. This is our true divine nature. This spiritual gold is what many believe to have been the real purpose of alchemy and what the alchemist was referring to by using the metaphor of turning iron into gold. This sacred ritual was meant to merge the higher with the lower, the inner with the outer. We see these phrases repeated throughout many of the world’s most prominent religions. Through this process of transmutation we realize our true nature, that we can live fully human and fully divine. This inner work is the most important thing we can do in our lives. This inner work, or alchemy, was so sacred to our ancient ancestors that they devoted their entire lives fullfilling this process. This is what we are being called to remember. This is something we already know that lies dormant within us. By waking up our inner alchemy we begin to remember who we really are as we transmute lower states of being/emotions that no longer serves us. We are far more than we ever imagined.
